Op. Dr. Muhammed Bilal Kürk was born in Kırşehir in 1990. He completed his primary and secondary education at İstanbul Beykoz Soğuksu Primary School. In 2004, following his success in the High School Entrance Examination, he was admitted to Tokat Science High School. After achieving a high ranking in the university entrance examination, he began his medical education at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa Faculty of Medicine), and graduated in 2014.

After graduating from medical school, he completed his compulsory public service at Artvin Yusufeli State Hospital. In the same year, he successfully passed the Medical Specialization Examination and qualified for residency training in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He subsequently began his specialty training at Metin Sabancı Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital.

During his five-year residency, he trained in the strong academic environment of Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Hospital, one of Türkiye's most established orthopedic centers. He had the opportunity to work with distinguished faculty members from different schools of orthopedic practice and gained extensive surgical experience by benefiting from the institution's more than 80 years of clinical knowledge and tradition. During this period, he attended hundreds of scientific meetings, actively participated in national and international congresses, and continued his academic studies.

After becoming a Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2020, he worked at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul. During this period, he gained significant experience in advanced trauma surgery, sports injuries, and the treatment of complex orthopedic cases at one of Türkiye's busiest tertiary healthcare centers. He developed a particular interest in sports surgery and began advancing his expertise in hip arthroscopy, a procedure performed at a limited number of specialized centers in Türkiye.

Between 2022 and 2023, he worked at İstinye State Hospital. During approximately ten months at the hospital, he performed more than 500 successful surgical procedures, particularly in the fields of sports surgery and joint replacement surgery, gaining substantial clinical experience.

After working at Arnavutköy State Hospital between 2023 and 2024, he returned in 2024 to Metin Sabancı Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital, where he had completed his residency, this time as an orthopedic specialist. There, he further advanced his knowledge and experience, particularly in sports surgery and hip arthroscopy. He also contributed to the training of young orthopedic physicians completing their residency. Believing that learning and teaching are mutually reinforcing values, he took an active role in resident education.

Since 2026, he has been seeing patients at Medical Park Maltepe Hospital.

Throughout his professional career, Op. Dr. Muhammed Bilal Kürk has made it a principle to closely follow scientific developments. He regularly participates in national and international congresses, contributes to educational meetings, and continues his academic research. To date, he has authored 27 scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. His studies have received citations in the international scientific literature and continue to contribute to academic knowledge in the field of orthopedics.

His primary areas of interest include sports surgery, hip arthroscopy, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, joint replacement surgery, and regenerative orthopedic treatments.

According to Dr. Kürk, effective communication is the first requirement for successful treatment. Therefore, he places great importance on listening carefully to each patient, understanding their complaints, and evaluating their lifestyle. His primary treatment approach is to consider non-surgical treatment options whenever possible and to provide the most appropriate solution for each patient. When surgery is necessary, he aims to develop an individualized treatment plan and apply the most appropriate method in accordance with current scientific evidence.
